Susan Branch

Susan Branch is a self-taught artist and the author of 14 hand-written, water-colored books published, beginning in 1986 and up to present, by Little, Brown and Company. Together these books have sold over 3.5 million copies. The Susan Branch Home store is located on the central coast of California and showcases Susan Branch designs. Soon to follow, a second store on Martha's Vineyard. The store's motto, taken from William Morris: "Have nothing in your home that you do not believe to be beautiful and know to be useful." Susan has been interviewed many times over the years by national newspapers such as USA Today and the Boston Globe, and featured in magazines such as Country Living Gardener, Inside Cape Cod, Creating Keepsakes and Family Circle. Susan has appeared on HGTV television several times, on the Cooking Channel and Books of the World. Her Christmas cookbook was nominated for a James Beard Award. Susan makes frequent personal appearances for book, calendar and product signings, gives talks on creativity, inspiration and her life growing up as the oldest of eight children.
