JOHN DURNELL

Prior to becoming co-owner of RJR, John Durnell was a third-generation gemologist in the wholesale diamond and ring manufacturing business. He decided to pursue a new career in the quilting industry because he was drawn to the potential of the industry and saw a tremendous opportunity for growth. And indeed, since he joined RJR 17 years ago, the company has tripled in size. John adds, "I have also found that the people we deal with make it the most enjoyable industry I have ever been associated with."
